I know February is a short month...but holy moly did it go by fast! I usually hate January and February because it's cold, snowy, and usually really dreary...but 2017 and Mother Nature have been good to us! Lots of sunshine, warmer temps, and no snow! I'm sure this and the fact that we have been busy, busy, busy getting ready for baby contributed to a February on hyper-speed!
Another month of very few photos...Pregnancy brain is real y'all and I am lucky if I can remember to complete the most basic of tasks these days, so forgive me :)
My mom and I went shopping for a crib mattress and found this artistic display...I swear we probably stood there laughing at it for 10 mins! #Maturity
After Target we met up with Caitie and the girls to go to Hobby Lobby and then decided to grab lunch after...
Lunch with a 1 year old is always interesting ;)
I ran my first race (5k) of 2017! I was hoping to get one more in before baby...but it's looking like this might be the last one for awhile :)
We had a much needed day date at the Home and Garden show. We got lots of great ideas for down the road, and ended up buying a ladder to hang on the wall in the family room and a book for Baby Smith.
Thanks to AJ's negotiating skills we gained a few more cable channels...and I am not sure we have changed the channel from the Game Show Network since! I would venture to say we have watched close to 50 episodes of Family Feud this month ;)
Valentine's Day was a tough holiday to celebrate this year...no candy, no chocolates, no going out for dinner...but my sweet husband made sure to still go out of his way to make me feel special.
And I as always busted out all the romance, and bought him some Fancy Cakes :)
I finished lil' man's quilt! And it turned out better than I could have hoped for...especially considering I don't have a lot of experience in the quilt making department.
We took advantage of the beautiful weather!
Two of my favorites <3
She thinks she is pretty funny :)
And this sassy little thing always makes me smile :)
My grandparents drove in for my baby shower all the way from Ohio...I'm a pretty lucky gal!
And a few more of this little squish, cause she is so darn cute!
My mom and sister-in-laws threw the PERFECT baby shower for Baby Smith!
We managed to fit most of the gifts in the car...but we still need to go back for the 2nd load!
This is his closet before I went all "Operation Nesting"
My sweet girl friends threw us an incredible shower...where Baby Smith was once again spoiled rotten!
We got started on putting together some of the baby gear...and of course Gracie had to be our product tester...I think she approves :)
My sweet students and their parents threw us a baby shower and filled up his room even more! Again, this is before #OperationNesting it is much more organized now!
Gracie continued to work on her summer body...just sitting in the gym bag works right?
Now I am just hoping that March goes by just as quickly as February...because we are SO ready to meet our little guy!
