Project 365-June

Monthly photo challenges aren't as fun as they seem...I decided to try out a monthly photo challenge I had found on Instagram because I needed new ideas and was tired of taking pictures of my dog and food...After this challenge I can confidently say I will never do a monthly (or yearly) photo challenge EVER again :)
Here was the list I seemed easy enough when I first saw it. However as I got into the month I realized I had no idea what "Bokeh" was...I mistakenly thought it said broken at first glance.
Self-Portrait-Selfie's are easy enough. This was me getting ready to head to the winery for Erin's bachelorette party.
Favorite shoes-nope, not cute heels...just my running shoes. These are actually my OLD running shoes that I refuse to part with. They are too broken down to run in, but I still occasionally wear them to the gym.
Hands-This day was the perfect excuse to get a manicure...I mean if I am going to take a picture of my hands, my nails HAVE to look good :)
Clouds-these were the days I enjoyed the photo challenge...easy peasy :)
Breakfast-I eat breakfast twice. Not just because I am a pig...but because I get up so early that I need to eat at 6 am and then again at 10ish. Okay...also because I am a pig :)
Books-I took a picture of my summer school classroom library. There is nothing I love more than books...especially kids books :)
A high angle-Summer lent itself to LOTS of Fin time, so of course she had to be the subject of this picture :)
Sunset-I wasn't in a good location to take a picture of the actual sunset, but I took this picture at sunset...that counts right?
Fresh Fruit-I love fresh fruit so this was a good excuse to head to the grocery store :)
Animal-yep, another easy one. My favorite animal...Grace!
Silhouette-I had to Google a how-to take a silhouette picture. I couldn't do I used a photo editing app to make it look close. Poor Gracie didn't realize when I started this photo challenge that she would be the subject of most of my pictures :)
Sun flare-I think that is what this is?
Reminds me of childhood-yep this disgusting little creature not only reminds me of my childhood, but he was around for all of my childhood. He barely survived :)
Someone I love-easy Finners :)
Action- Rain, rain, and more rain at the Kenny Chesney concert. Tailgating in the car was a new and fun experience. Luckily for us the rain stopped just in time for the concert!!
Mason Jar- Need I say more?
Bokeh- this isn't bokeh, not even close, but I couldn't figure it out. I tried okay!
Eyes- after taking several weird, awkward, photos of my eyes, I decided to go with a picture of my favorite sunglasses. No I don't wear them often...just on Caturdays :)
Summer- The best time in a teacher's life :)
Water- this water bottle is responsible for the many trips I take to the restroom each day.
Micro- at this point I was so sick of this challenge I took pictures of whatever. This was a delicious smelling candle I was burning while cleaning the house.
Landscape- again, I was so tired of taking pictures and way to lazy to care. This is out back of my apartment.
Black and White- Ice cream Sunday and mint chocolate chip ice cream :)
Love- not a picture I took...I cheated okay....I found this on Pinterest. I think it's cute and it says "love" so close enough.
Citrus- I think the name says it all! This bottle has been in my freezer for over a year...can you tell I am a big vodka drinker?
Green- the HOTTEST baseball game I have EVER been too!! Yikes!
My weakness- McDonald's breakfast and sweet tea are definitely my weakness. I practice self-control EVERY morning when driving to work. I only allow myself this treat occasionally...and by occasionally I mean no less than once a week ;)
My car- yea, this is a fun picture. I was SO over this challenge at this point and wanted to quit...but I couldn't do it. I was SOOOOO close!
Trees- yep, more fun pictures ;)
Family- this is one of my favorite pictures of all times...and not just because it's the only family picture we have, but because of why we took it. We were celebrating my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary :)

June Outtakes

This is the laziest dog I have ever met...but also the snuggliest, so I don't mind :)
I love, love, loved this summer more than any other summer. Mostly because of my Friday dates with this little lady and her mom.
Summer barbeque over at the Deffer's house.
Gracie often times climbs in my overnight bag...not sure why? Maybe she wants to go on a trip?
I just can't even with her...she is so cute, she makes me that crazy person who takes far too many photos of their dog.
My sweet little girl :)
Kenny Chesney and Eric Church...I was pretty convinced I wouldn't have much fun, because I am not a huge fan...but boy was I wrong...I think it mostly had to do with my company though ;)
These two goons are my fav :)
It was actually a really cool concert...
And then running into this lady made things even better! I love a random Goose siting :)
Big Beers, good music, and friends? Doesn't get much better than that :)
We sure like taking pictures together :)
I'm so glad I let these guys talk me into going to a country concert!
